Summary
Amends the:
Administrative Decisions (Judicial Review) Act 1977
and
Migration Act 1958
to remove the privative clause mechanism restricting access to Federal and High Court judicial review of administrative decisions made under the Migration Act; and
Migration Act 1958
in relation to: immigration detainees; the natural justice hearing rule; the refusal or cancellation of visas on character grounds; and mandatory migration detention.
